Finding You and Your Voice PDF Print E-mail
Written by Margaret Braunack

right-voice-margaret-braunackHow many voices do you hear in one day? People at work, home, sports environments, churches, and shopping malls just to mention a few? The voices of millions of professionals, parents, service providers, executives and managers all over the world who are fighting to make it in these changing times.

The “Pain” is personal and it’s deep.
“Nothing is changing.”
“Maybe I don’t have what it takes.”
“It’s getting tougher to survive.”
“I’m lonely.”
“I’m angry and frustrated.”
“It’s getting harder to manage financially”.

You may even relate to some of this yourself.  Would you be willing to move from the pain and frustration to the joy?

To find the joy and happiness and fulfilment in every area of your life you must be willing to “Find Your Voice”. If this is what you are willing to choose, it will lead you to greatly expand your influence of others. You will then inspire others that you care about, whether at home or at work and then these people will then find their voices and change their lives and those around them. You then discover that leadership comes by choice, not from the position or rank that you hold in any organization or family.

“Be You and Change the World” is the conscious point of view.
Are you travelling the road to mediocrity or to greatness?

The range of possibilities that exist within each of these two destinations is as wide as the diversity of gifts and talents that we each possess. The contrast between the two destinations is as black is to white.

The path to greatness is “Voice”. Those willing to be on this path find their voice, and inspire others to find theirs. Within all of us is the longing to live a life of greatness and contribution and to really make a difference. We may doubt ourselves and our abilities, but it is a possibility to live such a life.

It is just a choice….a life of mediocrity, or a life of greatness!!!!

What if it was as easy as a smile to someone as you pass them in the street?
What if it was by making a difference in the life of someone by giving them a hug?
What if it was by inspiring a child by questioning them to a new awareness?
Are you willing to be the catalyst of change within the organization that you work or belong to?

Once you make the choice to “Finding Your Voice,” your life will change beyond your wildest dreams.

In this climate of change that we are experiencing in the world, it has become a requirement to be effective?  Are you willing to thrive, and not just merely survive in these changing times?

To lead, thrive and innovate in all of our relationships, is a huge requirement if you are to be happy and at peace.

How many people do you meet who are striving to be happy?

The “Pursuit of Happiness”, a movie that told the true life story of Chris Gardner, who was willing to do whatever it took to change his life and be the “Voice”. He has gone on to inspire millions of people around the world, just by his willingness to choose more for him and his son.

While we struggle to create what is required in this world, to pay the mortgage, feed the family, educate the children, all the while  maintaining  a certain lifestyle, how much of ourselves are we destroying in the process, whilst trying to maintain the peace and joy and happiness with ourselves and loved ones?

Does anyone besides me see that as almost non existent?

Are we being called to move beyond effectiveness into greatness?

Is it now time for us all to find our “Voice” and to inspire and empower others to find their “Voice”. What if this willingness to be the greatness of who we are, was what is required to change the world?

What if our willingness to be the “Voice” was enough to change the destruction that is currently being spewed over the planet?

What else is possible?
